Our Services

Each assignment commences with a familiarisation phase. The extent and scope of this phase varies according to the nature of the assignment and our historical relationship with the client. Usually this entails a confidential meeting with the key director/executives involved with the decision to recruit and the appointment. Objectives for these meetings are:

  • To understand the nature of the business, in particular its organisation and structure, culture, performance goals, strategic direction, competitive disposition and management priorities.
  • To understand the specific requirement that has prompted our involvement and to identify any factors that may have an impact on the successful completion of the assignment.
  • To involve the client’s executives in the assignment and thereby help to obtain their commitment to its success.
  • To enable us to represent the client accurately and positively to potential candidates.

Following this briefing, Selection and Search Associates will submit a formal recommendation/proposal, and in conjunction with the client develop a specification for the appointment, and an ideal candidate profile. These documents become the benchmarks against which prospective candidates are measured. At this stage, we would confirm our approach to the recruitment, whether this is search, confidential advertisement and selection, or a combination of these methods.

The choice of recruitment method is dependent on a range of factors including, but not limited to: confidentiality; the level of the appointment; current employment market place; degree of specialisation; and geographical limitations.
